SECOND ENTRY TODAY (That's two for the price of one, people! So...FREE!)

I decided earlier (since I made a fat sweaty wad of cash in tips today), that before I started calling around to see if anyone had any fun that I could butt in on, I would go and do a little bit of long-overdue cd shopping.

Now, I've just recently begun smoothing out my listening habits again, having been lost in a temporary override of doo-wop, oldies, and lounge singing at its best. All still being listened to, just giving equal playtime to everything else that I thoroughly enjoy.

I went into Best Buy (a great place to go when you have no idea what you want), and did the first thing that I've done everytime that I've gone there for almost two years. I checked to see if they had gotten another copy of the Dion boxed set.

They did. (Can you hear that folks? Of course not, since I'm not computer savvy enough to do anything other than change the fucking color of this page, let alone add a picture or damned soundbyte. It's the sound of total self-indulgent bliss.) Almost TWO YEARS this thing has eluded me, and now it's mine. YeeefuckingHAWWWWW!

Since I still had money to burn, I picked up Dion's Deja Nu album to go with it (TWELVE new tracks, all recorded with the same techniques and equipment as "Runaround Sue" and "The Wanderer"....DAMN THAT'S HOT), and then impulse bought the new "Elvis #1's" disc.

Since all of my roommates are gone (a rare occasion indeed), I've decided not to bother calling around today; I've decided not to answer my phone; in short, I've decided to sit here with a big ol' glass of Bourbon, have a few smokes, read more of my new Stephen King book, and do it all while in the midst of doo-wop heaven. Am I greatbigfatloser? Maybe. But I don't give a goodgoddamn one way or the other. This is as close to Heaven as I think that I'm ever gonna get, so I'm gonna relish every bloody moment of it.
